this may cross over 2 threads but I have a Mixology App on my Iphone, and I added something to My Favorites. Bourbon on the Rocks. Easy to make, Always available. My comfort has always been Makers, but indulge in many other windages. Makers is safe.
yet I digress, Old #7 ranks right up there, after all, I am a Squire.

I would like to join any GTG at the distillery.  I've never taken a tour of the place.

If you guys ever get out this way we'll have to do some Knob Creek or Stranahan's. Nige and I put a good dent in a bottle of Knob Creek when he was out here and then headed out to ride at 8:00 the next morning. Nothing like mountain air in the morning to clear your head. ::)

Try Woodford on the rocks. Much better, although I did just buy a bottle of Makers today. 5.00 off, couldn't resist.

:cherry:  Had a handful of golf buddies over here last year in my bonus room bar.  One of them brought in a bottle of Woodford R.   Claimed it was the best.   I told him Makers M was much better.........and the bet was on.

I took 3 identical shot glasses and while his back was turned,  I loaded one with Makers,  one with Woodford and the last with Black label Jim Beam (quite good by the way).   He failed the taste test as did others,  most picking the Makers and/or JB Black as better. :P
