Rob,

Looks like you're the first to see this shield.  Looks good but not sure about the wind deflection / usability.  Please let us know how you like it after you ride with it.  Also let us know your height / inseem so we know whom it would fit.  Thanks!   :2vrolijk_21:

I guess it was just released to the dealers at the show. Got a quick peak at the supplement to the parts book and they have a few interesting things coming out. New speakers for the RG that have a built in tweeter, cvo paint/graphics on the tourpaks, and a few other goodies including some cool paint kits for trikes.

Saw it at a dealer in Elkhart, IN on Friday.  Looks very close to my CB.

Looks like HD has a deal with Klockwerks. Buy the Windvest 10" or taller. Smother air, better protection and looks better in my opinion. :drink:

6' Ohio.  I like the windvest over the other shields. The 10" is right at the edge. Drop your head a bit and its wind free...raise and you feel the air streams edge. You get some air at the top of your head as you do with any of the shorter shields but its smooth and doesn't sting like the KW. Less ramped up and accelerated air. I think the design of the "snowmobile" shields with the wave shape speeds up and focuses the air stream to give you the classic "buffeting turbulance" we all hate. Some wind is fine with me as long as it doesn't hammer at your ears and sting. Soft and smooth air is OK with me. :drink:

new "windsplitter" windsheild from the moco
« Reply #10 on: February 16, 2010, 07:54:51 AM »

Has anyone purchased & tried out the new windsplitter windshield from the moco. They have two different ones, the one for the roadglides. It looks like it is a crossbreed of a KW & a Kuryakyn shield. If so, how tall & inseam are you? Thanks.

I have one being installed on my 2010 SEUC but won't get to test it until the snow goes. There was discussion of it in another thread I can't seem to find. I'm a 32 inseam.
