Maybe some other members can correct me if I am wrong, but I seem to remember that several members emailed Roger McEwan about the guage and got no reply's.

What is an AFR gauge? Is that something that tells you when your chrome or paint starts to peel?

Not exactly...it actually monitors your blood pressure after it starts to peel....

MJZ,

Really don't need a gauge for that - just glance at the garage floor before each ride & look for shiny chunks under the bike. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

(AFR stands for Air Fuel Ratio, BTW)

Very good, I'd just took a swallow of diet coke; went right down my chin on that one. [smiley=laugh4.gif]

Do any of You know if there is a digital tire pressure system for bikes? It came on my car and all I have to do is press a button and get a pretty accurate reading on any of my tires. It seems like the sensors coule be mounted in the tires with a digital read out (like on a boat dash) that would fit just perfect where the air temp gauge is now.
Great item for vendor discount here.

mattm,

I've been looking for an oil temp gauge to fill that hole, Jerry

My business partner put a HD oil temp gauge in that hole.

Wow! That is really amazing. You have done this on three items for me in the last 24 hours and much faster than google or yahoo. Thanks so much.

Does anyone know how the sensors are mounted in the tires?  There is an instruction PDF on the site, but is says to look at the instructions for the sensors for their specific installation.

Sensors mount on the inside of each wheel with supplied metal band for secure and reliable fastening. Sensors activate/ transmit only when tire is rotating for extended battery life.
