New Guy from Aurora, Illinois

Hi everyone.  New to the site and expect to take delivery on a Spiced Rum FLHXSE in late March/early April.  Bike is scheduled to ship 3/26/2010.  Currently have an anniversary 2008 FLHTCU and really wanted to go back to something with a little more "hot rod" to it.  Previously had FXR4 and 2002 FLHRSE as well as a Road King Classic along the way.  Enjoy local riding but really love 8-12 day trips with buddies or my wife.   Been north, south, east, and west, ridden both coasts and even visited our neighbors to the north (Canada).  Can't wait for the riding season to start this year.

There is an amazing amount of knowledge on this site and hopefully I will be able to contribute something positive in the months to come.

Congratulations and welcome.  I was born in Aurora, spent my first 13 years there but have not been back but once or twice.  I didn't recognize much when I went back in 2000.  Seem to remember the roads are rough up there in Northern Illinois.  Too bad you won't get your bike by Bike Week, maybe you can come to Daytona for Biketoberfest.  Shiny side up and rubber side down.
