I know most of you have seen these, but for the FNG's, here are some pictures that still make my wife cry... Cry because I sold it that is.

The white sticker on the steering column support reads, "Injection is nice, but I'd rather be blown".

Speaking of being blown...

654 hp @ 6000 rpm, 575'/# torque @ 4200 rpm

Some of the awards I won with the Willys. I was in four Goodguys Events and won four Goodguys Picks. In Columbus at the Goodguys Nationals, I got the overall pick in the Willys Roundup.

Here is the Linda Vaughn signature on the dash board.

And for you young guys out there that don't know who Linda is, here she is sitting in my Willys just after she signed the dash board. I think she was 63 at the time of this picture. Still knocks them dead, what a lady... Miss Hurst, the first woman of motorsports!!!!!

That same year my Willys was the St. Ignace MI car show event car. For a long time St. Ignace was the largest single day car show event in the nation. I was on all the t-shirts, sweatshirts etc. My wife Linda and I were invited as VIP's for the weekend and to the opening event dinner. We got to meet all the real important people in the business. It was a great weekend.
I've got lots of other pictures of different cars and bikes I've had and as soon as I find the hardcopies, I'll bring them to the forum.
Enjoy, I sure did. Oh, this ran 12 seconds flat at 118 mph on the street tires, B.F. Goodrich Radial TA's. Anyone that knows those tires now they do more spinning than anything else. If I had borrowed my friend's Drag Radials at the drag strip, it would have easily been in the low to mid 11's. This Willys would break the tires loose at 40 to 50 mph just by mashing the trettle a bit too hard. It was truly a blast to drive.
I was in Rod and Custom Magazine's first Asphalt Ego Rama Shootout in '01. I left Michigan with the wife and we drove out to Bonneville to meet up with the group for a Friday morning breakfast. The group eventually ended up in Pleasanton and the Goodguys West Coast Nationals. That 23 day span I put 6200 miles on the Willys without any problems with the car. For the two summers I had it on the road in Michigan, I ended up at sell time with just over 16,000 miles on it. At 70 mph it would still get 13 mpg without your foot into it.
If I hadn't have sold the Willys I would not be enjoying all of you guys and the new CVO's I've been fortunate enough to have. Overall I think I enjoy the bikes and you guys more, although I do miss having a "car" to bomb around in.
Later dudes and dudettes...
