Saw this on the news.....in the papers, etc. yesterday.  The painted ladys are a row of elobrate victorian homes in San Francisco.  The largest one is the second most photographed home in America (second to the white house) and is for sale for $3,999,999.00 (one dollar under $4 mil).

Terrie and I stopped by last night, just before sun down.  I snapped a few pics.  It is amazing all the people in the park on the hill across the street, taking photos of these homes.  People from all over the world.  We saw limos stopping for people to get out and take pics as well as taxicabs dropping people off and we were only there for half an hour.

$4 million home and a one car garage that woud prove to be a feat to get in and ou of.

The sells brochure states that the seller had to disclose that people are always on the front steps taking pictures and that they will often ring the doorbell to ask for a tour.  We didn't go that far.......maybe we should go back.

This particular home has been in more than 70 movies, TV shows and programs as well as the setting for many weddings, etc.

I thought this was an interesting view, as Terrie and I walked up the walk (yes, it's up hill! )

Took a little detour to Haight Ashbury for dinner.  Couldn't help but notice the legs hanging out of the window.

O.K. truth be known......I was having a good time playing with my Nikon D-60 SLR.  I rarely take it on the bike but since we were in the truck.

The street signs on the corner of Haight and Ashbury kept getting stollen and the streets dept. kept putting it up higher and higher on the light post (look up at the second floor level).  Of course the business owners just painter their own sign on the buiding.

You'll notice Jimi Hendrix is painted on the side of the building at the second and third floor level.
