Ironhorse or C/pickup Pick one, Need help here.
« on: February 21, 2010, 09:43:37 AM »

I just traded off a 2006 Ironhorse for this Pickup, Keep in mind now that I also have a 2007 SE Springer, Goldwing Trike, and a couple of other bikes and 4 wheelers, but just one pickup, what would you do?

I would keep it to drive on nice days or if you are in the giving mood give it to me.

Seriously it depends on whether you like it or did the trade to get the chopper gone.  I am sure the truck will come close in price or even higher than the chopper.  How is the interior?  Drivers door looks a different shade in color is that an illusion?  Any bondo or rust in floors, cab mounts bed etc?  If not truck should fetch close to $15 or better in the right place.  Good luck, love the truck.

The interior is all new, the drivers door is light coming in the back door of mancave. The truck is a frame off redo, no bondo or rust I could find. Paint has a couple of runs, but you have to look close to find them. These little C/10s are in pretty high demand around here, thought it was a good trade. Money wise, it's hard to put a price on it yet, But think like you, 15K or so.

Nice graphics!  Of course I'm partial to the regular cab trucks.  Don't have a clue what an Ironhorse is (other than those that I ride).......so you came out ahead.

In Alabama or the area around us here the truck would definitely bring 15 or more with the new interior.  You did well.

Might get silly with it. The 355CI makes a great stroker motor, I've done before and had a ball with it. Also put a 250 shot NOS on it, really woke it up. The rest of the truck I'll leave alone. Who ever restored it did a good job, and under the truck looks as good as the top. I should be able to get 500hp out of it for not a lot of money. I'm just not 100% sure what I'm gonna do with it yet. I kinda miss the smell of good fuel and niterous in the mornings if you know what I mean. Thanks for the kind words. :2vrolijk_21:

I'll bet you did not ride the Ironhorse much with that stable of bikes.  (They're barhopppers more than anything else.)  Looks like a great trade!
