Detachable Tour Pack For SERG
« on: February 23, 2010, 07:19:12 PM »

I want to get a detachable King Tour Pack for my SERG.
I want to have it painted similar to the rest of the bike with some stripes etc. on it.
I'm looking for info. on what I need to buy. Do I buy a unpainted tour pack or can I order one silver like my bike and then have the stripes added. I'm from Nortern Indiana and would appreciate any recommendations on a good painter and about what it may cost to get it painted also.
I typically order most of my HD parts thru Chicago HD for 20% off and no sales tax.
Any info. anyone has on what I need as far as hardware or any other tips would be appreciated. Send pics on your tour packs if available.

Harley makes a silver one that matches our paint perfect.  Once you get the tourpak you will need to find a painter you trust and have them paint the stripes on it.  You will have to buy the detachable hardware along with the passenger back rest pad. I will post the part number once I go through my receipts and find them.

I think you left a "2" off that number- it's $239.95, no? this is the chopped tour pak pad, right?

I'm planning to do the same thing= king tour pak with the chopped tour pak pad- what did you use to fill the extra holes left by not using the king tour pak pad?

Oh disregard- I see from your pic's you do have the full pad, not the chopped....when I looked up that part number, it showed up as the chopped pad-CVO style.

52621-09             39.95     T-pak Backrest Pad

This is just the pad it attaches to the front of the tourpak.  Extra pad for the passenger

Oh, okay- sorry. Silly me, and here I assumed that they would include that with the main pad....another thing to buy separately!!

I had one from my street glide that I cut down to fit under the TP. I also have one hidden in the fairing with a Y connection.
