Chrome Calipers
« on: February 25, 2010, 01:37:15 AM »

I'm changing the brakes out on my 08 Fatboy. I want to put Chrome on and I have two choices, PM Caliper 4 Piston or Harley Caliper 4 Piston. I know the PM is higher in price but are they better in quality.

Hey Chris ,  There is a dealership in Tondawanda NY between Buffalo and Niagara Falls, called American Harley Davidson.  They have a chrome caliper exchange.  You send them your calipers and they exchange them for refubished chrome ones for around $ 170.00 each.  Then they send your old ones out for chrome and refurbish them for the next guy.  A couple of buddy's have done it now with no problems so far.

Just a thought :nixweiss:

The PM units are definitely nice looking, and top shelf quality too.
