Hey guys, I'm new to this site as I am waiting on my first CVO.  It's the blacked out ultra.  Waiting for all the parts to come in before I pick it up.  For those of you who have received the new bike already, I hope you are enjoying it.  Looking forward to interacting with you guys on this site.

What's the highest number out there ( of 999) I believe so far it's 518 of 999.... Who will get 666?

My bike is schedule to ship May 26th, I should have it 10 days later or so I've been told.

My CVO Ultra / Crimson Black is due 6/4/10.  They said it ships then, but takes a week to arrive. I'm 5 feet 3 inches, so need it lowered front and back before I drive it home. I've only been riding for 4 months.  I learned on a 1300R VTX Honda.  Has anyone that has their new black bike have any comments on what they like or don't like?  Anything they would change about it?

WOW are you in for some big changes, I can tell that the Ultra feels top heavy stopped. DON"T be surprise if you drop it a couple times during the first month or so getting used to the weight during any slow turns or tryin to move it.
Riding you will find it handleds better than the VTX and of course the ride is great,

I have the same one waiting for mine, with Vance & Hines Dresser duals, premium chrome tour pak hinges (still do not know why HD uses cheap hinges), motorcycle armour, and short antennas.

Mine shipped May 7th cannot wait.

First time but it does not look hard, If you have put 3m decals on before it looks a lot like the same process. Watch the video on Motorcycle Armour web site it shows how to install it.

Bit of a different topic, same bike............  Given the newness of these bikes and relatively fresh paint, should we be waiting to put a coat of wax on?  Or does the clear coat protect otherwise fresh paint?  Same question on detailer spray.

You are right about the bike being top heavy.  Really takes some getting used to when parking.

The handling and ride is really smooth.  I really didn't expect it to be so much smoother (in motion) than the Deluxe, but it is

That is the nice part of the touring chassis, this is my third 06, 09, and now an 2010. The change in the new chassis in 09 are great compared to my 06.
