Great weather, great scenery and great company

We left Sacramento via Hwy. 16. Chuck being new to Calif. from Texas doesn't really know all the back roads so my goal was to take him on Hwy. 49 Historic (missing all the by-passes around all the historic towns). We rolled through Drytown, Amador City, Sutter Creek, Sutter Hill, Martell and Jackson. These are all historic towns from back in the 1800s and the California gold rush.
We stopped for breakfast in Jackson, at Mel and Fayes Diner.....
