One fun thing is to rent a Harley from Las Vegas HD. Very nice people and it's $190 for 24 hrs and includes the helmet. There's always someone at the dealership so you can return at any hour. They had five ride destinations last time I was there. I liked Red Rock Canyon and really liked the Ring of Fire. Google for info but both are great trips by cage or bike. Gets you outside Vegas for part of a day. I have yet to make the Death Valley trip.

Terrie and I rode our own............and used the valet parking when we stayed at the Paris. :2vrolijk_21:

Like you, we don't gamble........don't drink either, so that $190 goes a long way towards shows (which is what we go to Vegas for!).

Oh no.....we parked them.  Then tipped the valet supervisor nicely and asked her to have her crew keep an eye on them.  That's worked at several of the big casinos in the past. :2vrolijk_21:

  That's the ticket!

I lived there twelve-plus years.  I would pull in with the hot rod or the scoot and ask the valet, "May I paint the fence with my ride?"  The answer was always, "Yes, sir."  They knew there were some extra bones coming their way for allowing me to park front-and-center.  :2vrolijk_21:

Great photos!  I miss frequenting the shows and the many opportunities to see great entertainers.

Insider info:
Show your D/L with a Las Vegas address and nearly all shows are half-price.   :coolblue:

I'll be there this summer also, what's a good bonus for them??? I have a small sign I attach to my seat "grab strap"  it says  "Do NOT sit on bike, Alarm will sound, Motorcycle will page owner, Motorcycle will notify 911 and report theft in progress".  People just look at it, look at each other, take a step back.   Hey, what ever works!

The appropriate amount depends on the venue and any special events.

De La Hoya vs Trinidad at Mandalay Bay; September, 1999;  the valet received $100.

A typical night and a routine event, $20 - $40 is common.  The larger sum if they are really jammed and you see them having to create a space for you.   :2vrolijk_21:

It's worth it for a little piece of mind.......  I usually go sit outside with a beer late at night and watch the drunks return to the hotel... always afraid some drunk knuckle head will try and jump on the bike.  It's VERY entertaining watching the taxis and limos returning the party crowd at the Paris (any hotel really) on a warm night!
