I just got back from Daytona Bike Week late this afternoon. While I was there I had a unique opportunity to see what Kurakyn, Zippers and Thundermax were doing in the way of business today.

Of course i have no idea what their business was like up until today with the weather being less than favorable. But each of these vendors had customers waiting to have tuners and exhaust upgrades done while they wait.

Kurakyn is partnered with TTS Mastertune and had at least 10 lifts in a tent going full bore with people waiting for their turn. At at least $1,000 plus per upgrade.

Thundermax was doing their fare share of business at a shared tent with Zippers. People were waiting to get the latest tune and exhaust upgrades.

Reinhart--had a trailer with 8 lifts all with bikes on them and bikes sitting behind each lift 5-6 deep.
While I was there visiting a friend who was working for them, a fork lift came out of the Destination Daytona Harley shop stacked full with the latest full exhaust kits.  This was his second trip I was told in a hour.

So business was brisk and people seemed to be happy with the final products at each vendor.

All of the vendors were shipping the old parts home for their happy buyers.   ;D  ;D

Their tent was shared by the Zippers staff. I was looking for the Zippers tent that sold TMax products and went right by it the first time myself.

I had Kurakyn in stall their Lizard lights on my scoot.  Got it done at their tent at the speed way.  I got to say they did a great job being very carefull with the bike and hiding all the wires.  My only complaint would be they said it would take 1 hr and it took 2 hrs, but I think that was because the tech was being extra extra carefull with the bike.  Now the ride looks like a night club.

Was Kurakyn tuning the TTS on a dyno? Might be interested in that when they come to Laconia.

I honestly am not sure they had a dyno there.

I think they developed all of their Kury maps on a dyno at their corporate place and then brought them to Daytona and loaded them out to the various bikes.

My understanding was that Mike Roland built those maps off his dyno with many different combinations and cams.    If you are interested you should give him a call and verify it.

No need to call. Mike did build the maps on the Kury dyno.  He said so at Daytona. These are the ones that were being downloaded.
