Sapper Goes Down Under
« on: March 07, 2010, 03:26:10 PM »

I just returned from a great 2 weeks of Rest and Recuperation leave from Australia.  It took me about 72 Hours to get to Sydney after leaving Northern Iraq, but My wife was there when I got there.  We Stayed in Sydney for a couple of days before boarding a cruise to Melbourne and other ports in Tasmania.  After getting back off from the cruise we were in Sydney a couple more days before the wife had to leave.  I spent my last day in Sydney on a rented HD riding through the Blue mountains.  Then I returned to Iraq.  No doubt this was the best 2 weeks of my whole year.

1st Picture is of us on the ship leaving the harbor at Circular Quay.

Some Blue Mountain Scenery from my 1 day on the bike.  I think it was an '06 Heritage.

Sapper,
After the initial shock and taking a double take of the title and board it was in and realizing it wasn't in the "Rider Down" board and the subject "Sapper Goes Down Under" had nothing to do with something happening to you I'm glad to see you and the wife got some R&R. Now keep your head down, finish your tour in the sand box and get home safe. :2vrolijk_21:
