Amigo Jorge invited me & a few others to Miami today. In attendance were: Jorge & Martha, Mike & Lisa, Stu & Lisa, Linda & I, and Joey Bones. Miker & I meet Stu down in Boca and then headed to Jorge's home. From there we went down to South Beach for a wonderful meal! As always a good time was had by all. A few pix starting with Stu's Pumkin:

I haven't been reading the board much as of late and missed that Kiki bought a FRX3! Nice ride.

We saw a total of six cruise ships line up waiting to head out to sea:

Traffic was much heavier than in little 'ole Beaufort, SC

Martha kept pointing to the big "boats". We think she was trying to tell Jorge which one she wanted.

We finished lunch and parted ways. Mike & I headed up I95 and he exited down by Wellington. That's when the trouble started....

I realized that I was extremely low on fuel and needed to pull off. On the exit ramp, I felt the bike do something "weird" and just thought I had run out of fuel. Looked at the tach and the bike was still running so I rode into the station. Took on 5.2 gallons and drove off. About 100 feet later I realized something was really wrong. Made a U turn back to the station and found that I had a flat tire. Luckily, it happened here and not on the highway doing 75+. The tire had a cut in it and I had to call the dreaded tow truck!
