The number on my invoice from the dealer is 32109-08A SE Pro Supertuner.
If this is the part number that you have, then it is not the right tuner for your bike! :nervous:

That is the proper number for the SEST, so you don't need to get a new SEST.  What you do need was mentioned in the previous post.  You need the updated Software which is part number 32111-10.  This software provides the proper base maps for the 110 engine with the new O2 sensors.  It also contains the new Auto Tune feature to help you self tune your bike if you are in to that.  (Don't confuse the auto tune feature of the SEST with the auto tune of the ThunderMaxx.  It is not a "tune on the fly", but a record and load type set up.)  Make sure your dealer has loaded this software into computer, otherwise they're trying to tune your bike with an incompatible version.

Yea, that's what I meant, the wrong version. Thanks Red Devil for clearing that up.

The 10 has a different tuning scheme, not VE adjustments

2010 still needs to have the VE tables properly calibrated just the same as before.

BB

Can you post a copy of your SEST map here? If your tuner was able to calibrate your VE tables then there may be something else in the map creating your issues. Dollar to Doughnuts that one of the gearheads here can find it.

Also, post your dyno sheet here with it. I saw it on the other thread and the torque curve looks strange to me. Your dropping torque pretty quickly. It may help someone figure out what is going on.
I dont have a copy of the SEST map from the dealer, but I can post  the dyno sheet again.

The dealer called and said that the bike was ready. We shall see when I go to pick it up. They still couldnt tune the SERT, so they installed a Power Commander and said it runs great now no more flat spot at 2000-2400 rpm. Not sure how they could tune that, unless its a canned down load. I wanted to give them one shot to make it right, before I take it to another tuner. I may still take it to an experienced tuner just to have it checked out.
Its not like I wanted anything to complicated, just a set of pipes, Im sure hundreds are installed everyday. Thanks for all the responses, I will update when I can ride it, supposed to rain for 3 days here.

Did you give them permission to install a Power Commander?

You may hear from others here as well, but your dealer should have not done that. There is no need to add anything including the extra costs if your tune is right.

You can also get the map from your bike by using the SEST then post it here.

Can I assume that your map posted above starts the curve at 2000 RPM? If so, that torque curve just isn't right.

I have the PC V with autotune and just like the MastetTune TTS, you can get a tune configured for your bike's specific config.  But unless it is a gift and you find it if they changed the NB sensors to Wideband, running the PC in open loop or closed etc.

I agree they should have asked you first even if it was free.

I'm sorry, but they are feeding you a line of BS. Did they just start dyno'ing bikes or what?  If you load the basemap from the SEST software for the 110 configured with SE A/C and Race Exhaust, you'll get a much better dyno run then the crap they did for you.  I would not accept the PC and make then do it right with the SEST (how can an HD dealership not tune a bike with an HD product?), or cover the cost for you to go out and get your bike tuned by someone that knows how.  Richmond HD North has a pretty darn good dyno guy, and HD of Washington has a good one I've heard too.  They did a cop out to cover their inexperience. JMO.
