My Bagger Brace just came today ;D will put it on tomorrow then i,m fitting some Roadking forks, so IN THEORY I have turned the SEEG into a streetglide, suspension wise anyhow :confused5: WE'll take it from there. ::)

I think all the touring bike front ends need some help, there are several options, I went with the Ricor valves, really like the handling afterwards. Haven't heard much on the new Progressive cartrage upgrade.

Last time I studied the market for these things there wer around a dozen different brands. Seems True-Track started the trend and I went with them. Also have one of theirs on my Dyna. Both bikes are improved for straightline stability as well as handling.

It has to be born in mind that all Buells have three stabilizers and all these kits do for the rubber-mount Harleys is fill the gap! Current Sportsters have three as well. If the factory had fitted these things when Buell designed them touring Harleys would all be so much better!

I decided to go with the Glide Pro stabilizer system. It replaces the swingarm shaft
with a longer one and it looks beefier. The isolaters now ride on the shaft instead of
bolting to the end of the shaft. The much firmer isolaters and front motor mount make
the rear end much stiffer.

What once was a wallowing pig in the corners now handles like it is on rails.

This kit is the only one I found that did not add any stress to the tranny or bolt to
any other parts on the bike. It addresses the problem at the source of the problem
which I feel is the best way to solve any problem. IMO.

This kit is all internal, nothing bolted to the outside of the bike.

Hi Louis, had the heavy fork oil in from about a year old, but guess what, it's still trying to throw me off, well NO MORE, ive had enough of the beast trying to part company, and it AIN'T gonna win, i guess i'm the only mug on here ridin without a brace, and given I like to ride quickly with the best of em (you know that Louis after the ride we had to Kobarid) I think i'm lucky not to have had my ass draggin down the road before now :o

I still don't have one. Too many out there to make a sound decision.

That's a good point, which is why I went with True-Track.

I am reading a book about Buell, celebrating their 25 years (written before they were closed down). It explains the approach Erik took in developing his rubber-mount/stabilizer system, to provide vibration isolating with top-class handling. Harley only half-heartedly adapted it for their own bikes, with pre-09 bikes having just two stabilizer links. Kits like TT provide the third link that Harley never fitted. It works!

Done all mods including Bagger Brace, SERK2 forks, new swingarm bushes and bearings, alignment check 1/2 a degree out, so it's in tolerance, only been out two up so far and although I havent had a wobble as such, it FEELS A LOT MORE NERVOUS on white lines and overbanding etc, the weather is good for the weekend so I will go out solo and give it a good spanking :-X. Will report back after the shakedown.
