Works just like the black one. I use mine all the time. I was going to "save" it and keep it in the display box but said heck, you only live once.  ;D

Uhh, btw, it's not really gold, or even gold plated.  Just in case no one told you, it's brass.  But it does serve as a spare key, so it's not totally useless.
