Windvest mounting without gasket?
« on: March 18, 2010, 10:49:40 AM »

Doug Dober at Windvest has emailed me stating that his screens mount to the 09 SERG without a  gasket (CVO gasket stays with stock deflector).

Has anyone here mounted one that way?  Any pics?

PS:  I have searched and seen the modified gasket by one member.

I had mounted the 12" dark Windvest with the standard Roadglide gasket , worked pretty well ( but now Clearview because of less buffeting )

I used the standard Road Glide Gasket on mine. Fit was good and only was able to put on a 100 miles before I stored it. Getting it out in two weeks YeHa!!
