BTW, I had asked my dealer to order me a replacement seat, which he did, but he told my father in law that when they put it on the bike it didn't fit as well as the original seat and that they thought I would not have the gap issue. They have another bike a TQ on the floor in the dealership which had a visible gap without anyone sitting on the bike. Right now the original seat does look good, however my concern is that it will eventually sag over time. I believe I'll e-mail the dealer and request for them to do a swap by mail as soon as I get home. I just prefer the idea of knowing that one seat should hold up better over time. We'll see whats what soon enough.
