A good Dyno tune is worth every penny of $425.00 to $500.00......remember a basic dyno runs $28,000.00....a dyno with a test cell can run as much as $60,000.00 and a GOOD tuner/operator is priceless. $400.00 to protect your $25,000.00 Harley is a no brainer.

I've had 2 bikes dyno'd on 3 occasions , the most was 3 hr of labor which is a bit over $200.  I'd agree a good tune is well worth the money, $400 does seem a bit steep.

A dyno is a dyno is a dyno.  Your not paying for the machine, but for the "expertise" of the operator.  $400-$500 for the operator is worth every penny.  Do you let your barber do your dental work?  No.  Get someone with a good background and reputation.  Ask others who have used him.  This is all JMHO.

Never knew it could run that smooth.  There seems to be very little effort to get up to speed and maintain.  It is going to take a while to get used to.  No more bog at low RPM and I haven't found the top end, but I probably never will.  The power seems to go on and on.  Coming back up the Turnpike and I-75 I had to be careful not to open it up.  Best money I have spent on the CVO, no doubt.  Thanks again, Doc.  WOW!!!

I have a 2010 CVO 110ci Street Glide with 1,300 miles and plan to install Fullsac's X-Pipe (B) and 2" core baffles.  I'm not trained to use any tuners and have thought about dynoing the bike.  My Harley dealer techs are trained on the SE Pro Super Tuner.  So, my question is this:  If I dyno the bike after installing the X-Pipe and 2" core baffles, does it matter which tuner I use (i.e. TTS or SE Pro Tuner)?  Isn't a dyno a dyno, regardless of the tuner used in the dyno?

Thanks, Rick (Dallas, TX)

Dyno machines all do the same work (albeit with slightly different methodologies in application and software).  What does vary considerably is the skill of the tuner (person) doing the work.  Find the best and most well respected tuner in whatever geographic area you are willing to travel.  Ask him which managment package (SERT, TTS, Power Commander, whatever) he uses and prefers.  Use that.  After all, you're paying this guy to dial the bike in for you.  Why use anything other that what he is best with?

Also depends on what was done to the bike. If you only added pipes and a A/C, I would say that's really high. If you did a complete motor build than it might be in line with the hours spent.  As for the dino, yea your not buying it. How many hamburgers does a fast food place have to sell to pay for the building?

True, but after one fast food burger, did you keep going back and buying more???  Word gets out...
