The SERG3 seat part # is 51531-09 same part number for the replacements.  I have an extra HD replacement seat I'd part with.  Fit fine but I went Corbin.

Recieved my replacement seat yesterday, did not install the bumpers and the new seat fits perfect. No more gap sitting and no more seat rubbing on the saddlebag.    Doc

Well I've had the Corbin for about 10 days and I'm really impressed.  I can't find a position on that seat that isn't neutral and comfortable.  Sat it for 3 hours without a stop yesterday and I'm sure I can go all day.  Riding to California in July and no worries.  Regardless of comfort, if you're going for looks and fit, I don't think you can do better either.  Excellent service and got it in two weeks.  The stock seat is in the attic in the Corbin box.

The black plastic piece that surrounds the headlamps developed a crack I stopped by the dealer to have them order a replacement.  Anyway they really talked up the SE-259E cam big time.  All the technicians claimed it's the perfect cam for this motor unless you're looking for high RPM racing performance.  Sounded interesting.  Drops in with no other engine changes.  I'm still riding the stock exhausts so lots to research.

Well, the picture sealed the deal for me.  I have been looking for a 2-up replacement, and was leaning toward the lePera Sorrento.  I went with the Corbin gambler for half the price after seeing your picture.  I also have a C&C solo that i like a lot.  Since I'm taking the 2-up to Sturgis, the lock will give me a little piece of mind too.

JP-FLTRSE3, that's a great looking seat!  Not sure if everyone knows that the Corbins lock on to the bike.  Seems that if you're going to put out $$ for a seat like that, you don't want to loose it!  Corbin replaces the screw that goes into the fender with a receiver for the lock mechanism contained in the seat.  Seems smart to me.  That way, the Corbins are longer and the hole / screw is hidden.   :2vrolijk_21:

Hi Greg, Are you happy with the comfort of your Corbin seat on long rides? Also, does it sit you lower than the stock seat? I am thinking of getting one, they look great.

Hi TBird,

The Corbin is very comfortable though it feels firmer than stock, esp. at first.  400 miles in a day was fine.  BSR says it feels good too.  See here for some other comments pictures:  SERG AND CVO: VERY GOOD TO ME! NEXT?  See reply #'s 149 et seq. It is slightly lower and narrower than stock so if definitely feel lower.  That thread has most of my mods.  Probably need to update it.  I asked for all leather but Corbin convinced me to keep the sides vinyl saying the seat will hold it's shape better.  Seems to be the way to go.

The Corbin Gambler is narrower than the SE seat so you'll expose some of the protective plastic film.  I took a roller ball pen and traced the side of the seat on the plastic film.  Then I used an exacto knife to scar the film so I could peel off what is now excess.  A little "Goof Off" cleaned off the extra glue and ink.  Now it looks very clean.  I'd have to say go for it.  Good luck!

Both, look great.  Any idea if Corbin's giving us a vendor discount to the group?

I went with the Classic Solo with Passenger Pillion... Here's a pic FYI.

CAP

Is the pillion removable, so you can easily switch between solo & 2-up? Looking at Corbin's site, but can't find anything that says that specifically.
