Heated seat
« on: March 31, 2010, 10:01:34 PM »

I have and 010 CVO Ultra with the heated seat.  It looks to me like it is plugged into the accessory connector under the seat, is this possible.  If not where is the accessory connector for the accessory switch on the dash.  Seat works fine with the switch off, but I wanted to use the accessory plug fo :nixweiss:r another application.

You may have to search for it but there should be 2 plugs under the seat connected to the bike wiring harness. One is constant on (which is what most people have their seat plugged into) and the one plug that is connected to the accessory switch. The dealer may have connected the seat to the wrong plug at setup time.

If it works fine with the switch off, then it's not plugged into the accessory switch...

Accessory connector (switched from fairing ACC switch),has 4 wires and should have a rubber plug protecting it. It is fed from harness coming from under the tank. The heated seat is a 4 wire connector but has only two wires. It should have a tag on the wire labeled "heated seat" and comes from the harness behind the fuse block on left side, next to battery. Hope this helps. (photo from '09 SEUC)

Thanks, I have and 010 CVO Ultra, with the spoiler and bag guard lights and I was also looking for the accessory connector.  Sat works fine, and the bag lights work, but I guess I will not have a separate accessory plug I can use with the dash switch.

If you have the ACC switch on the dash, you should have the ACCESSORY connector under the seat. If it is already being used, HD sells a splitter harness that will give you two female connectors. Part number 70264-94A.
