4-1-10 Ride on the BRP

It was a beautiful day here today.
How best to enjoy the day than a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
We had lunch across the street from Stations Inn on the Parkway and we rode the BRP for about a 100 miles.
It clearly has been a bad winter on the Parkway.
There was thousands and thousands of limbs at the edge of the road.
Damage from ice storms destroyed so many trees.
But the park service had cleared them from the road and  I guess they will clean up the debris soon.

Last one.
It was a great day on the Parkway with a great bike.
Here's a shot of a fantastic bike on a great road.
I need to ride the SERG more but yesterday I rode the 03 silver and black and thought the same thing.
But the SEUC hits the road Friday.
I'm on a quest to hit 30K by the end of this month on the 09.
I'm trying to stay ahead of my friend Marty!

YUP the temp gauge on the bike was showing a 100.
Definately short sleeve riding weather on the Parkway today.
