i just baught my 01 roadking and after driving from dealership home 210 miles.. my feet were hurting. i cant use the highway bars very much i have some probs with em streching out. but i feel the after market passenger boards and there soft and sqichy and feel mine and there hard as a rock. i was wondering if i should buy the new ruber inserts or i should get diffent footboards. i been trying to find a desent set online but havent realy found any. i dont realy care what they cost or look just the feel. i mean im not paying 250+ for em but just need better then these junks that are on here.

If the rubber is not totally worn out on yours, replacing them is not going to make a difference. There was a set I saw a few years back that had springs between the upper and lower board so they were a lot softer, don't know who made them. Good Luck
