I like the gloss black, but only on the Spiced Rum.  If I had the other colors, I would paint the inner to match.

Don't care for the color matching inner fairing, prefer plain black myself.  Not into the color matched flame stitched seats either.  I guess I like it simple, looks better to me. IMHO of course.

Who actually does the CVO painting for Harley, I heard that Harley send it out and does not do it in house. I have a chip on the bottom of my front fender on my new concord blue street glide and have been given the run around from every paint supply house in Tacoma, and the little bottle of touch up Paint from Harley is no where close to the original color! Bummer, I really need help

I don't know who is doing the paint work this year. Gunslinger in Colorado did it a few years ago and that's who I used. Maybe someone who knows this years' vendor will answer...

This is the company that did (maybe still does) the CVO custom paint.
It's in a small town just north of Milwaukee.

What did you do with the mirrors that were attached to the fairing? I like the new mirrors but how did you get rid of the space left over after removing the stock mount mirrors?

On the paint job, love it. Think I will get mine done when I can afford it. I have the same bike and think it really sets it off.

I replaced the inner fairing...I ordered an un-painted fairing from a model that does not have fairing mounted mirrors. And like magic--NO HOLES!!! Or I have seem some guys put painted plugs in the existing holes.

Cool, thanks for the info!

I like the Black especially after riding the CVO Ultra in Scarlet Red at Sturgis. With the sun behind me the glare from the fairing blinded me to the point it was a safety concern.

On a side note I rode with an owner of the Scarlet Red CVO Ultra yesterday and the Red was IDENTICAL to my Tequila Sunrise? First time I've seen both CVO's side by side?

They sure appear to be the same color anyone else notice this?

I'll bet you didn't paint it Tequila Sunrise though? The Ultra Red and Tequila are fairly bright and reflective. JCZ Candy Concord looks great as I'm sure your's does.

I'll stick to the vivid black though  :nixweiss:
