fuse supplied in CVO pack
« on: April 10, 2010, 05:49:11 AM »

well im stumped either that or blind :D  :confused5:
when i went thru the CVO pack given to me by the dealer i came across a 40amp fuse that looks very much like the main fuse already on the bike. This fuse was vaccum packed to the GPS manual so is either a spare or for something i am missing.
thanks in advance

The fuse is supposed to be installed by the dealer during the PDI!
The tech must have not looked very hard to find it and got a new one....

That would be my guess as well.  All the bikes are shipped without the fuse installed, and one of the main things the dealership has to do during "prep" is to install the maxi-fuse.  Perhaps the office folks grabbed the documentation package before the tech was able to remove and install the fuse?
