exaust for flhxse 2010
« on: April 10, 2010, 09:01:40 AM »

I am an italian proud owner of a flhxse 2010. I want to change the original exaust. Is someone that know the reason why the
Screamin' Eagle® Thunder Street Performance Slip-On Mufflers          Part .n.65115-10 can't be installed on my bike?
I saw also D & D too.
Thankyou in advance

Fits 50-state '10 Touring and Trike models (except FLHX, FLTRX, FLHXSE, and FLHTCUSE) and models equipped with 103CI Street Legal Stage I Engine Kits. Also fits '09 California Touring models. Requires separate purchase of End Cap kit and Muffler Clamps P/N 65296-95A (Qty 2).

I wondered the same thing and could not get any definitive answer until I spoke with a rep. at Super Trapp who makes the Fatshotz for H-D. He said on the 110 engines the SE slip ons don't pass the decibel requirements for EPA certification. He said they will work on these bikes and will perform well. If you ever had a decibel check you may have an issue. I have Rush true duals with ceramic coating and FatShotz slip ons. Looks and sounds good, any without dyno feel a little perf boost thru middle range.

I don't know if you can get them shipped to Italy, but have you checked out the Fullsac baffle cores?

More is better! BUB Boom Cans Sweet sound not so loud as to interfere with the stereo.
Click the links in my signature to hear them with the factory head pipes or with the V&H Power Duals.
