Sorry if I was too harsh....didn't mean anything personal.....Sorry Sea Biscuit.....all I was asking for was a couple rubber plugs to cover the holes til winter and then fill the holes and repaint the fairing....real simple question ..so I thought.
Again I apologize.....

Raza, it is easy. Here's what you want:
Fairing Plugs P/N 732 (qty 2) and 735 (qty 2).
This is what the Motor Company sells when you put on touring reduced reach bars on a Street Glide. They block the mirrors and HD says you need handlebar mounted mirrors and to use these plugs to fill the holes.

No worries mate. We're a knowledgeable but sensitive bunch...

How to cover up fairing mirror holes
« Reply #18 on: April 16, 2010, 01:05:52 PM »

How about it guys?
I have seen small tweeters installed to cover the holes, stickers etc.
The fairing is already painted so I dont want to replace it or have it repaired.
Fire some good ideas at me...

Some discussion here:

The part numbers for the inserts from that thread:

This easily qualifies as the weirdest thread of the season. Where can we get what you guys are smoking?

Cheers,

The last little bit is another thread that got merged with the original thread.  It does seem a little weird starting with my post, haha.

I was always interested in the thought that a pair of tweeters could be put there and look good enough to get me to move to a different set of bars and mirrors. Does anyone have any pics of these?
