...this used to join the other two towers. All the marble floor had to be replaced and the glass wall replaces the missing corridor.

We were in very heavy rain and traffic after leaving NYC this morning and arrived in Salem wet but with just enough energy to go out for fried clams. I'll post more tomorrow after Terry shows me around her city.  Doc

After riding all day in the rain again we made it to Salem. The next day was nice and sunny so we had a great day visiting the Witch City and getting the bike serviced at a local shop while Terry did the laundry down the street. We had fried clams the first night and I have to admit they were pretty good. Here is a pic near the harbor.

...and met up with Marty and Dianne who showed us their town. They live about 20 minutes from the border and since we had our passports we were able to meet them on the Canadian side. Thanks you guys for showing us a good time and we hope you will be able to get down our way next summer.

We took a walk through the state park by our hotel this morning...a nice crisp sunny morning with the leaves changing.
