I've been awaiting a replacement right side for this problem for almost a month.  09 SEUC.  Dealer is doing it under warranty.  Same issue, grip slides off and spins.  I've adjusted my throttle technique in the meantime.  I'm glad I didn't leave the bike at the dealer until the part arrived.  Same thing happened on my friends 08 SEUC.

muddypaws, I use a product on my dirt bike made by THREEBOND called GRIPLOCK. I comes in a tube and the part no. is 1501C.(I have never had a grip come off and sometimes I ride my dirt bike in very hot conditions. (CA. desert ) I have had no problems so far with my 09SEUC, but I am glad to be made aware that this situation could happen. Threebond company is located in Torrance, CA. Maybe one of their techs could give some info on whether heat could effect the glue. I don't understand how the throttle side could come off since  I haven't had mine apart for any reason, but I would think that it would be held in place by some sort of guide in the swith housing similar to when we had throttle cables. This would probably work to hold the grip tight, but when the grip comes all of the way off of the bars, the internal wires come unraveled with it and are nearly impossible to get back on correctly.  So, even if you were able to glue the grip down, the heater probably wouldn't work.  It does not appear to be something that can be taken off and reinstalled.

I was driving down the road today with the heated grips on and the one on the throttle slid off. Looks like the glue holding it on melted. Anyone had this problem? I shut off the heat and put the grip back on. It's holding with the heat off.
yes i had the same problem if you take it to the dealer they will replace it with a new one
