Can't blame me for asking. while it may be conjecture, it may well be good information. One never knows one's so called inside information as being valid or specualtion. No blame at all.  Only time will tell about the 2011 RG CVO or the water cooled trike.  Maybe things will be clearer in July.

Don't plan on seeing the new 2011's on display in Rapid City during Sturgis week.  Last year the city could not give HD a decent price on using the civic center (like they had used  :-[for years) and  HD was relegated to the Civic Center parking lot.  This year they couldn't even agree to the parking area.  If you are looking to see the new 2001 bikes you will need to go to Sturgis at 3d and Lasalle as described in most recent HOG magazine

Is it to early to start discussing what the 2011 Screamin eagles will be?  colors???   Models  changes???

After checking my crystal ball, I can predict with absolute certainty, that the 2011 CVO models will come from the factory  with very restrictive Exhaust Systems and air intake, the ECM will have more complex programming making it more difficult to tune, and the AFR will be extremely lean causing Overheating Problems that will require expenditures of Hundreds of Dollars to overcome, The Engines will have valve clatter requireing Louder Mufflers or ear plugs, and for the Majority of Riders the Seat, Windshield and Shocks will require replacement.

Having been away for several days got a chance to talk to our old source on all things future.  That's right; the pool boy.  Willy's brother's cousin's babysitter's girlfriend's aunt's gardner's convenience store clerk's dad who knows the guy who drinks with the bartender for the man who is the pool boy said that it is certain that 2011 will bring the FXRVR2FSE.  That's the new FXR model with 2 front wheels and reverse so it can (only) run circles around the competition !  And, of course, the SE Servicar.

Damn...you always have the inside source!  What a bike!
