OMG, I missed that whole performance segment of the CVO line.

Okay, maybe I got carried away. Was thinking lighter, faster instead of heavier, slower.

Cheers,

51 different choices...no wonder MOCO is struggling...why not narrow it down and focus a little more on quality instead of spending so much to provide so many options to choose from?

I beg to differ. The choices enhance Harley's marketing capability, hence sell more bikes. The production facilities through the last year were already streamlined to be able to build many different models (and we're talking small differences in many cases) efficiently from the same assembly line. I see no risk for quality.

Ride safely,
Louis

I agree with Louis. Many of us have asked for this (more options) for a long time vs having to pay a boatload to get it the way we want it

Since the dealers know the regular 2011 colors, wouldn't they also know the 2011 CVO colors in advance?
They know what (regular) models will be out for 2011 also, but the CVO's are kept secret in a vault at Willie G's house and the pool boy hasn't cracked the safe yet. ;D

Seriously there may be a few dealers that have that info but they have been sworn to secrecy.

5 CVO models for 2011?   :nervous:  Or was someone just doing some wishful thinking by sliding the SERG in there?   :nixweiss:  I can see the Ultra and Street Glide again, but I would have thought they learned their lesson on the leftover 09 SERGs to not bring that back again.   :nixweiss:

but the 2011 CVO RG will be an Ultra RG which is a big difference in my book.  I passed on the 09 CVO RG for that very reason.  Predict the 11 CVO Ultra RG's will fly off showroom floors just as fast as the CVO Ultra's have.

I'm thinkin the 96 is just a sham by the MoCo to throw everybody off.  I think they'll all be the 103". :nixweiss:

My dealer told me the Moco told him of a new option on the softails.
He thinks it will be cruise control. He also said he will be ordering all
the touring bikes with 103 engines in them.

He said the Moco was going to group options in packages like the car
companies do.
