My dealer told me that they got word that the 2011 CVO Ultras would be released in waves like they did in '06 - only one color at a time.  This is to limit the availability and drive up price of course.

Well, that, and I'm sure that they don't have them all built upon release date.  I'm sure those employees like being employeed year round!  Seems like a smart move since they can also correct unforeseen issues in later batches if something is discovered early...Ok, "correct" may be wishful thinking!

I would think so.  But you may have to wait if your favorite color is not in the first wave.

It's been a while since I've been on, but got some info, you can take it or trash it, I don't care.  GM/Owner of local dealer said the following for 2011 CVO's:

Road Glide (full tourer)(I question this, I don't see them going away from the Ultra)
Street Glide (with a blacked out version)
Fat Bob (yet again)
Softail Convertable

It was in '06 but when I got my '07 in November '06 I could have had any of the three colors.  All were available at that time.

Not the way it started with the SEEG's.....In '04 they made the B&B ones 1st and then the O&B ones........had a O&B 'show bike' that they moved around for the 1st few months before producing them.  spyder
