By the way, I'll never venture back into that dealership again.  I was so disappointed.  I've heard so much about how great this place was, with all of the different buildings on the property and their great selection of everything.  They had maybe a dozen bikes on the floor at most, and there is no room for more of them.  The motorclothes area was small and lacking inventory.  I have no idea what's in all of the sheds and barns or whatever all of these extra wooden buildings are on the property.  I asked some other customers outside, and none of them knew what they were for either.  To top off my experience, the salesman started arguing with me, telling me that the Road Glide was the best handling Harley by leaps and bounds...and when I told him that was a matter of opinion, he told me that in every category the Road Glide is superior to the Ultra.  Then he told me that Harley is making the Road Glide Ultras available because there are so many people with Gold Wings that want to buy a Harley, but won't buy one unless they can get it with a fixed fairing, since they are so superior.  Eventually, I just told him he was a jacka$$ and that I wouldn't even spend money on a t-shirt there if they had some available, and I walked out.

Interesting - I'm glad I read your post, as I passed by this dealership last summer, but didn't have time to stop.  It sure looks impressive, with all of the banners and flags, as well as the many outbuildings.  (Also oddly enough, I was headed to York, but did not have the chance to take the H-D factory tour.  I did find a great restaurant in York however: the Roosevelt Tavern.  Great food, friendly staff and the prices were reasonable.  Dang, it sounds like it is time for a road trip!)

I have a deposit on a green one and a orange one.  The green one will not be in until mid September, but i should be able to pick the orange one up today or tomorrow.

I like both, but I am afraid the green one looks too much like a jap bike color.  For example....

Starting over is half the fun.  Wreaks havoc on your pocketbook but we love it.

I've seen the orange/black in person and sat on it.  In my opinion, it's an overprices bar-hopping bike.  Enough said...

Why?  The color, that it's a street glide, that it's not yellow, ???

There just seems to be too much bling on it.  Those giant speakers in the lowers for one.  I don't like the way they did the fuel cap, putting it on the tank surface.  Looks as though it will be hard not to put some scratches on the tank, or at least spill fuel.  The color wasn't bad, except it doesn't "pop"...maybe too much black on it for me.  If I'm going to spend $32,000 +, the color had better pop.  Harley's not exactly famous for their color choices anyway.  The fairing mounted mirrors just aren't as functional as the stem mirrors (I've had both), plus the stem mirrors add some chrome and some form too.  And they take away from the beauty of the color matched inner fairing.

To sum it up, for the price, it just seems to me like Harley went more for the flash aspect, rather than improving on the function.  But that's just my opinion, I'm not trying to offend anyone.  If everyone had the same bike, it'd be pretty boring.

picked up our orange SESG yesterday............gorgeous!  way better in person.  the flake in all 3 colors, the subtle purple pinstripe and the chrome wheels combined with motor covers REALLY make this thing pop!  we were gonna go with green........SO glad we didn't.  SE bigs are about the pop IMO.  ;)

i'm gonna take some good pics and post them in the 2010/2011 SESG2 section.
