Touch up paint
« on: April 15, 2010, 04:29:35 PM »

I got the Candy Concord TU paint and went to use it for the first time. It seems that it is lighter than the rest of the bike. Is there a 2nd bottle with a base coat that I am missing? Dealer doesn't seem to know much. Anybody else run into this?? And yes....it does say Candy Concord on the bottle :)

I've never seen an HD touch up paint from HD that matches......either to light or two dark. :nixweiss:

Since Mom was an English teacher and I got corrected many times as a kid,  now it seems upon occassion I find myself doing it.

The color may be (too) light and again, it could be (too) dark.   It will never be to light and/or two dark ::)

P.S.   Maybe if you add a coat of clear on top of your touch up color,  it will come closer to matching.

I bought a quart of paint one time and it seems to me I had to buy 2 different quarts to make it look right. But the second quart may have been activator. ???
