I've had Traxxion forks for close to 3 years and do not have a squeek...   :nixweiss:

I had the Traxxion installed in the 03 September 6 2007 and no squeaking.

Not long after I discovered Traxxion Dynamics and what they offered had the red bike as the sort of site mascot and guinea pig.  Terry Crain had his in line the next day and we rode back to Terry's place in Alabama from Georgia together.

Terry took me through some state park with some nice riding roads on the way.  Only things on the roads were us and I called us to a stop on the side somewhere.  We were maybe an hour or so from Traxxion Dynamics.   I'd heard a new noise.  Not so much a squeak but definitely a light noise that traveled with the front suspension.  Wasn't loud.  But was there.

Asked Terry about it and he heard it too.  Had to listen closely but he did.  I could get beside him and find it in his bike also.  He called Traxxion and they described something (I've now forgotten) that explained it.  It wasn't a worry for either of us.  Just wasn't that kind of a noise.  It was just new.

Honestly could not say whether the noise went away and things wore in a bit and found their new home or if we got used to it.  But after a couple hundred miles with Terry the next day I wasn't hearing it anymore.  Hadn't really thought about it since then.

There is a possibility of 2 different noises. One is a hydraulic noise, kind of a slurping sound on rebound, that one is normal. There can be a spring noise, caused by the the springs rubbing on the inside of the fork tubes. Not really a problem, but we have updated our setup to eliminate the noise. All new AK20s will include the new setup. If you are experiencing the spring noise, we can update to the new setup when servicing your forks. give us a call if you have any questions, 770 592 3823, or email me directly at dan@traxxion.com
