I didnt bring the camera, those guys are a little funny about people taking pictures. The cops had thier camcorders out trying to find the ones with warrants. It's unbelievable the sheer number of cops at a gathering like that. I got pulled over for passing so the cop could tell me it was disrespectful. I told him that was one good unmarked car, I didnt even notice it. He was cool about it though, Even though technically I didnt break the law.

Yep, I found that out in downtown San Francisco in the late 60's when I was taking pictures of some choppers outside a bar......out comes some irate bro's wearing colors and wanted to take my camera.   Well, I decided it was time for a good retro-grade operation (run, Forrest, run) and being in great shape at the time beat them to a alley and up over the tallest chain link fence I've ever seen.  Lived to tell the story one more time. Didn't come down to San Jose.  Just went to Jim's to pick up some of my mototcycle parts, visited with him and Andy for a minute, then took Marvin (from Sac. not from Fremont) to SF for the day for his birthday.

Sorry we missed you Ernie.  But now that you mention it......aren't you J.C. and the others about due for a ride up this way.  Remeber, good fortunes bestow upon you when you visist my home. [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

When I first read this thread that's the first thing that came to my mind. Anyone taking pictures would be mistaken for the "Po Po" or some other "G" men, and could be putting themselves in and awkward place if they weren't.

BTW CVOwner did you smile when the "Po Po" pulled you over? My guess is they took your picture.

Oh yeah, I asked them not to take it till I could get ready, they didnt find that humorous at all! I personally think they get everyone all cranked up and bring it on themselves, I know there's a lot of bad guys out there. But, thier testosterone aint helpin. It was a good day though, its always a good day when its 72 and sunny. Which, by the way is the forecast for this weekend. We are breaking records for 113 days without a drop of rain. I love the desert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]
