Looking at getting a 2010 CVO in the Concord Blue for 31,900 out the door. I also did not know if i should wait to see what Harley is going to do in 2011 for new CVO bikes but we should see it in September.

Actually, the amber/citrus is the best color and much faster than the rest!!! YES, a VERY good deal IMHO. P.S. I like the color too; hard pressed to make a choice between the two.

If that's true out the door, good deal.  MSRP is 30999, so you're getting it tax, tags, service and shipping for less than MSRP...buy it!!

If that price includes tax I would say that is a phenomenal deal.  If it is just dealers fees (freight, setup, document) than I would say that is average to higher than average price.

My dealer has me going out the door for 32,800 which includes taxes.

NH Has no sales tax. So it seems to me like it will be a MSRP deal plus the setup and plate fee. Is this still good or should I try to get them down a little more?

In OK we have to pay taxes separate, there is no way to get them on the note. They aren't to high though... I think 3.25% on new vehicles.  I'm fixing to write them a ~1100 dollar check...ugh.

A great deal "out-the-door" would be MSRP plus freight with no prep (it's a BS charge), which comes to $31,379.  Registration fees and taxes not included. 

I don't know about the market in your area, but unless dealers have SESG's sitting on the floor collecting dust I really doubt you'll do much better than that.  We are now entering prime motorcycle selling season, and deals that may have been available during the winter will probably be only a fond memory from now until next winter.  If you were talking about one of the less popular models, maybe MSRP minus would be possible.  However, the CUSE and SESG are very popular and most dealers will be holding out for at least full price (and of course there are the crooks who still try to get thousands over MSRP).

I'm 80 miles from Harley Davidson's HQ, so as you can imagine, lot's of HD's running around here and good inventory in the dealerships.  That's a good price.

Looks like a couple have posted since I started typing this, but it should help a little I hope

From what I could find out about NH and the lack of sales tax applied to vehicles, your first registration will still be expensive, but I don't think anything that you do at your dealer will affect what you pay at the BMV when you register your vehicle.  This is completely different than what happens in my arrangement.  All of the taxes that I pay at my dealer will be paid in advance and not paid again at the BMV.  This doesn't mean I'll have a free registration, but the cost will be minimal comparatively.

That being the case I believe the "out the door" cost your dealer is speaking of implies MSRP plus about $900 in dealer fees.  There are dealers who will waive these fees entirely.  I'm not sure the exact average, but I believe most will TRY to charge about $380 for freight and around $200 or more for setup and some may also charge a document fee of around $75.

Probably many more members who can chime in about what they think or fees they did or did not pay.

That is exactly what I had to pay.  MSRP plus 380 for freight.
