I kept my fingers crossed in the class, like Jerry said this class was not easy nor was the instructor. As we were waiting for our test and range scores 3 people in front of me did not pass. I wanted to vomit as I was waiting, the suspense....  BUT I Passed I was doing the "Happy Dance"   

 As far as riding to the GTG ARE YOU GUYS NUTS!!!! This country girl in the big city and the traffic I think not. I have a few more miles in the parking lot first.

Absolutely.  As we tell folks who are new to riding - you now have a license to go practice.  Please do NOT get pressured into mixing it up in traffic or geting in over your head.  Take it at your pace.  We all progress at different rates and that is OK.  The most important thing is to get your skill level and confidence up in an orderly progressive manner.
