Cruise In at Oakboro NC

Every 4th Friday of the month a little town named Oakboro about 30 miles from us has what they call Cruise In and Burnouts.
It's a blast with a final at 9 pm with "run what you brung" to the burn out strip.
The town has a concrete pad that you can spin your tires till they pop.
The police run the show and a deputy soaks the pad with a water hose after each run.
It's an incredable site to see the tires smoking and then the tires pop.
They also have local Hot Rods cruisin up and down the strip, stylin and profilin.
