has anyone tried the bigger mufflers from a Rinehart 2-1? I'm wondering if its possible to take them and add them to a set of true duals. Dont know if they are the same lenght or if they would even fit the exhuast cut outs on the bags. Thanks

Figured someone had thought about doing this. I searched before I posted it and came up with nothing.

I think that the thought of "why" enters the mind.  Why take a big risk of just wasting your money (if it doesn't work.....decreases performance, etc.) when there are a number of proven exhaust systems out there.

But then again, I recently learned that there are grown men out there that just want a louder exhaust and could care less about performance.  Up till recently, I thought that was just the youngsters, the kids. What do I know?

I was thinking it would look similiar to the boom can exhaust, it would really fill up that opening where the exhaust exits.

You touched on something that I may have over looked, performance, I'm sure that mufler is dseigned a specific way to work as a 2-1.

Just thinking outside the box and trying to do something different on a friends bike.
