Will they fit???
« on: April 26, 2010, 08:01:43 PM »

has anyone tried the bigger mufflers from a Rinehart 2-1? I'm wondering if its possible to take them and add them to a set of true duals. Dont know if they are the same lenght or if they would even fit the exhuast cut outs on the bags. Thanks

I think that the thought of "why" enters the mind.  Why take a big risk of just wasting your money (if it doesn't work.....decreases performance, etc.) when there are a number of proven exhaust systems out there.

But then again, I recently learned that there are grown men out there that just want a louder exhaust and could care less about performance.  Up till recently, I thought that was just the youngsters, the kids. What do I know?  :nixweiss:

I was thinking it would look similiar to the boom can exhaust, it would really fill up that opening where the exhaust exits.

You touched on something that I may have over looked, performance, I'm sure that mufler is dseigned a specific way to work as a 2-1.

Just thinking outside the box and trying to do something different on a friends bike.

Why not just order boom cans?
