I really thought Id be still taking the bar hopper to the local pub.....but shes collecting dust now since SE came home. Bad paint or not, its just too nice a ride, and with a nice stereo too, no brainer. Im going to clean it up, and sell the bar hopper, and start saving for the '07' cuse's just in case MoCo changes paint contractors. I still gotta have 2 bikesand just like a bad cop, you always need a back-up gun. I just hope I get to keep both scooters when my wife files for divorce.

Hate to screw up your idea, but the plastic parts are painted by H-D, not an outside contractor.

Hey GRC, if Harley paints only the plastic then why is my front fender just as screwed up as my saddlebags? Why did the rep from Calibre explain to my local dealer how "they" painted the bags?

I'm just repeating what I've been told (and also read elsewhere), that Calibre paints the metal parts and Tomahawk (H.D.) paints the plastic.
