With regard to the Freedom package and the rev extend - I assume the reason they want to test the package first is that their original maps were only set up for the stock rev limit of 5800.  Therefore the fuel curve would revert to the stock H-D map between 5800 and 6200.  If that is the case, I think it speaks highly of the folks at Freedom that they want to make sure everything is right before releasing the update.

Brad isn't going to do anything until he tests it and proves it work like he thinks it should just the type of guy he is.

Ordered my rev extend kit February the 9th and got it in the mail yesterday the 24th (15 days later). Will try to install tonight. I am not a computer geek, but the directions don't seem that hard (famous last words).  Hey Beagle, what do I need to set the acc. pump on?

Your bike may be different,  but mine is set to 90% throttle and 10 rpm.  Don't know what map is in your bike or what else you've done,  but the throttle responce on mine is Great!!!!  You can play with it and just snap the throttle,  don't set rpm too high....trust me....otherwise you'll stall at lights if you give it a little crack.  Make sure the bike is at normal operating temp,  otherwise the PC doesn't kick in.....  The firmware upgrade is easy.  These guys really thought this thing out......

Let me know if you need help.......

Beagle, thanks for the post. Ran into a little problem. My PCIII does not say USB on it, actually it says PCIIIr.  There is no way that plug will connect with my PC.  I bought it at the end of 2003, unless someone knows something I don't I guess I need to buy another PCIII late model. Man that rev limiter is going to drive me nuts. SOL again.

Dude,  the PC3R was a race application setup in earlier models,  if you don't have a USB port,  you can't download the required firmware, (in other words....time to upgrade....).  You have to have a port to download the new firmware too...if not your SOL....sorry, can't get it done....

If yoyu need a new PCIII-USB,  I can point you in a direction......bought mine from the guy.......be careful online today....there's some fakes, and the Dyno updates don't work.......

Let me know if I can help!!!!

I would appreciate the company name and phone number if you have it available.  I bought the last one from Dynojet for $354.00 delivered to my door.
