For those of you with the Zumo 660 Garmin has just released new firmware for this unit
Hook your 660 to the computer that has your Garmin software, go into web updater and it will install the new software.

Do you know what items they addressed?  Seems every update is 2 steps forward, but that 1 step back can be a real zinger!

Thank you for the info.......took about 6 minutes, then it asks if you want to check for more updates, did that and put check marks on all of them.

There are about 35 things and on the website it explains all of them.

i did the firmware update to my H-D 660 yesterday, i have to say so far i'm glad that i did.

i didnt think to take any before screenshots but i did take a bunch of after shots so here goes


updated default view non-routing i think the speed limit ICON was moved lower, also the top banner now display current song playing, i found you can tap the top bar and it will change to next intersection like it used to display

i have always felt that the lack of a "more data view" was a big negative of the Zumo(s) this looks like the view i had on my Quest and i really liked having the extra info on the screen. never understood why a larger screen and more horsepower couldnt do what the old clunker could

I hope there will be a way in the future to keep the "Speed" indicator white and not red.  With my eyes, I find it almost impossible to see the "Speed" indicator now that it is red at night.  Good concept but bad color for older eyes.
