American Custom exhaust question
« on: May 18, 2010, 05:09:42 PM »

Hello to all. A friend of mine installed some slip on mufflers(Bombers) on his 2009 Road King made from American Custom and they sound great. What's great about this company is you can send in your own stock muffler and they will modify it to the sound you like. Loud , Medium or Low and you can change the baffle in 2 minutes to change the sound if you want. They also can send you a set if you do not want any down time. Plus it's very economical ($179). Check out there site at (www.americancustom.com) My question is has anyone used these mufflers on the 110 and did you install anything else with these mufflers? Thanks

I don't have a CVO, but I just put them on my 2011 FLHX and I love them. Without the baffle, they sound fantastic....very deep and boomy. with the mid baffle, they are louder than stock, but you can ride without ear plugs. I am extremely impressed with them especially given the price.
