Welcome Aboard.

If the engine is detonating (Ping, Knock, Pre-ignition) try using a better grade of gas if you are using the lower grades.

I guess it used about a half a liter in 1500 miles. I checked it cold on the side stand the other day and it was down a couple marks.

regarding pipes. I asked the dealer and they said there was no mapping or mods. Just put the pipes on and drive it. What do you think of that?

On the oil use when checked on the side stand cold it should be at about 1/2 mark otherwise it will exit through the vents into the breather.

Regarding the pipes the dealer is correct you can just install the pipes and Ride the ECM is well capable of adjusting for the change to pipes and a high flow air cleaner as well.

The noise is a different animal not sure what is going on there? If its still under warranty I'd address it with the dealer first. :nixweiss:
