The bike now has 22,000 miles on it and I am looking at changing out the chain factory cam soon to a gear cams. I have the following on the bike Rineharts with headers, open Air breather (KN) and a Race Tuner. This set is fine. I wouldnt replace the cam but by what I have read they need too be look at or replaced. I have read about zippers and freedom cams on the site that were installed a few years ago. Any other suggestions and are yall happy with the 575 zippers. All I am looking at doing is correcting a problem that Harley should have done with the cams. Are these drop in cams and do I need any other parts besides gasket and oil too replace them. I will have a shop in town replace them. thanks for your suggestions

Went to the Freedom cams and haven't had a lick of problems. Check with Jim (HD Dude) as I believe he still has an in with Freedom as far as pricing them. Good luck!
