Hi all,
I got a sweet deal on a slighty used 09 w\ 515 miles and had to buy it for 22.5 K. Same bike in Canada would be 29.8 K +++ new, 27.5 K used.
Is there that much of an issue with heat on these 110 CI SE motors ? I would like to leave the bike stock until broken in. Up here in Alberta the cops are starting to enforce noise bylaws. Any exhaust mods or slip-on that sound good but not too loud.

Welcome to the site from Mississippi. Yes it's hot and hopefully you can wait it out b4 your mods. If you were down here you wouldn't wait long. You can check the posts on exhaust and you will get alot of help with pipes vs perf. or pipes vs. sound. Alot of people like the Fullsac options.

At 515 miles that motor is already broke in.

To keep the stock look and to keep the law off of you, I'd suggest the Fullsac baffles (do a search on this forum).  Sound nice, increase performance and the most affordable alternative to other exhaust systems.

You'll probably want to go with a high flow air cleaner and you'll need a tuner, also. :2vrolijk_21:
