battery charging
« on: May 26, 2010, 01:32:10 PM »

How do I charge the battery of my new CVO?  where is the easiest access point?  any of the power ports hard wired to the battery?

thanks,
Richard

I looked in the index, found "battery charging" on page 195, looked it up but didn't see how.  Do I remove the RH side cover?

thanks

I have a FLHTCUSE5 and the charge connector is tied to a small wire bundle on the right side of the bike inboard of the rider foot board behind the transmission adjacent to the engine oil filler cap. Look for a black capped connector with a loop between the cap and the connector body. It is a good place for it it is well hidden.
